BrewDog DogHouse Stay In Columbus

Yes, so I'll give a little story on this. So I had to uh go for a work event, and while I was in the area, we talked about previous shows about brew dog. They have uh a hotel down there, which is you know, all based on you know, it's called Dog House, but it's basically hot. Based on their beers, yeah, and it yeah, and they're dog-friendly place. It has roughly around 22 rooms, I think they said, you know, in the hotel part. Oh, that's it? Yeah, that's not very big, yeah. But they're actually kind of big rooms, and I was impressed with the size of the rooms. And the place looks amazing. Oh, it's amazing. So they just that's the inside lobby of the hotel, and Beer Wench is bringing up some pictures for the YouTube page, but that's inside of the hotel, and that bar stays open until 2 a.m. And you know, they did a cookies and beer thing, you know, from like in the afternoon, and then they have uh that was that's the actual room I stayed in, that one right there. The gold the godship, yeah, gold, yeah, not that one, but the one with the sink, the main bed. But they have suites in there and stuff, and it was really, really nice.

So now is the bar packed to stay open to 2 a.m. Just kind of wondering because it's kind of down there by that's what I was surprised.

When I walked into the restaurant the first night, right? I walked up to the bar. There is a ton of seating, right? So you have the brewery, and then you have the restaurant, and then you have the hotel, all in basically one building, okay. Right? Yeah, and they have a dog park and a whole huge outside seating area that people bring dogs and stuff. But when I was and they have a dog park for dogs to run around and stuff, but so I went in the restaurant and I said, Well, I'm gonna eat here, and it looks good, but walk right up, no, you know, and the world cup was on, so we were watching that, having a great time. I got some chicken wings, very, very good chicken wings. You know, the waitress said, Oh, yeah, she likes this flavor, so I ate that. She was really sweet, really nice lady. But you said she was pretty ugly. No, I said she was pretty. No, I didn't say that.

Okay, so but she said, Oh, but the bar over in the hotel area is open until 2 a.m. I went over there, it was one other lady in there, but I sat down and had another beer there, but there was no one else. There was just people coming in, you know, checking in, getting stuff, and going up to the rooms and stuff. But it was very nice. The room was very clean, it was quiet. I was surprised how quiet it was. I did not experience the shower beer shower. Oh, you didn't get one? No, no, so there was there was a cooler in there, right? But I didn't take one, but there's an actual spot, it's a little metal thing that you put your beer on, and it says beer holder, you know, in there.

But yeah, but if you're passing through Columbus, whatever, and yeah, it was it was very it was very nice, and it's the south side more or less of Columbus.

Wingman 95 Cal IPA Taste Test

It's pretty nice. I might have to let's give this one open this one because now this this caught me off guard because when I was there, I seen it as like 95. I see 95 calories. The one thing I didn't realize that this is a tropical season IPA, yes, and I was like, Oh, I thought it originally was like a lager or something, 95, like a light lager, but I was impressed because this was uh IPA at 95.

But my room was very, very clean. I didn't see any trace of dog hair or anything, you know.

Then you put so it was sour cream, mayonnaise, hot honey, garlic powder, onion powder. And that's all she called for. Oh. And called it a hot honey ranch.
