Kentucky Airbnb And Old Homes

And one of them across the street, which I really liked, it was made in like the 1800s, and it was originally um uh a blacksmith, and then it ended up becoming a home like in 1860 or something like that. And then uh it was beautiful homes and all the homes.

Buffalo Trace Releases And Blanton’s

Yeah. Oh, but yeah, and they added the house next to it was um they said that was more of a colonial period, it was like early uh or early 1900s, but late 1800s. Okay, and it had the the like the stone that you would stack for like the basement, yeah, yeah. And the foundation, and then it had the old colonial colonial look of the the wood. So where are you at? Uh dang, I don't I can't remember, but anyways, uh Kentucky. I can't remember now, but I did go to uh Buffalo Trace where they have Buffalo Trace and all that, and so I ended up going there, and what they do is they sell certain um uh let's say uh bourbons on certain, you know, they're gonna release this or release that, and they don't tell you until that day. Boom, we're selling Angel's Envy, right? Or something like that, right? So we go in there. Is that Buffalo's Angels Envy's? Yeah, Buffalo. I didn't know that. Okay, I'm pretty sure. Yeah. Anyway, so I went in there and I got blantons. They were selling blantons. Blantons is the little like octagon bottle with the little horse. Yeah, I got that. I bought a bottle, and then I also bought a bottle of because everybody was running up and getting this one. It was like going real fast. I just walked by, you know, I'm like, oh, I'm good. I got blantons. I walk by, everybody's grabbing this one. And I'm like, why is everybody the guy's like, oh, they don't really have this all. So I was like, I grabbed it, right? I get up to the counter and the lady goes, uh, you sure you didn't want to get the other one too? I said, There's another one. She said, Yeah, they did one in like there's a barrel style, and then there's a small batch, right? And I'm like, Well, which one's better? And she's like, Well, small batch because it's rare.

So I got that uh hidden, like up in the cabinet, and then I got the one that's more expensive down for everybody to drink. Now I know why people come over. Oh, can we have some of this? Oh, help you sell. Yeah, yeah, and uh I gotta go to your house, but I quickly reversed them. And then I actually went up there and I realized I had two bottles of the green stuff, so I'm like, sheesh, you know, but anyways, long story. Yeah, that way we don't, yeah.

I got it for my I got it for my BFF when he comes over and visits. But uh they you know the lady I hate to go on about this, but the lady did we did a uh sipping. They said, Do you want to do a um a tour? I said, No, let's just do the sipping and go and buy this stuff, right? And they laughed. But they're doing sips, which was very cool. They came up with this idea. They say you get a very good bottle of uh uh bourbon or whatever, right? High-end, whatever. She says you put on the date on there when you open it, right? And you celebrate um things with people like your your friends, your family, and they all sign the bottle, right? And put the date when they drank it, right? And what you do is you just pour little sips and you celebrate over the years with it and stuff, and they say, When then people that's not a bad idea, and they said eventually it'll be empty, right? Or it'll get close to empty. And then when these people pass away, you bring that bottle out and you say, This this is for them, you know. I'm I'm drinking this with them because now I miss my buddy Rick, you know, right? And I'm having a little sip, I'm celebrating this, and you have the dates of all the times that you uh were together and you you drank this and stuff. So it was kind of a cool thing. They said, you know, it doesn't mean that you have to sit there and pound the bottle, like crush the cap and you know, pound it, but yeah, dude, that's all I mean that's a really cool idea.

French Onion Chicken And Smoked Brownies

Dude, it was it turned out really good. Now they said that uh you put it over mashed potatoes. I didn't have any milk at the time. Oh, to make any mash. Yeah, but yeah, so I put it over rice. Oh, it's fine. Yeah, it was it was would it taste better over mash, you think? Yeah, I could see where it would be. Yeah, yeah. But it, you know, with the roux and everything, you know, I mean, with the it it thickened up so much. Yeah, it was very good. It would it, yeah. I would definitely do it again. A little salty for my taste.

It up to 350 or whatever, 375, whatever the instructions said, and cooked it that way. But he said, key thing is to keep it in the middle of your trailer because then the heat's more even.
