Another Reason to Drink

Small-Town Moments Become Reasons To Drink

Bill & Rick Season 6 Episode 42

Send us a text

The label promised berry jam; our glasses screamed butterscotch. We cracked open Great Lakes Brewing’s Cookie Exchange milk stout expecting a sweet, fruity holiday twist and instead found caramel, coffee, and a full-on Werther’s vibe. After a pre-show feast and one too many smoothie-style pours at a local favorite, we got honest about why pastry stouts can overwhelm a full palate and when a single dessert beer is the right move. Then we reset with Samuel Smith’s Winter Welcome Ale—a classic, lightly skunky European-style ale that trades spice overload for clean malt, easy bitterness, and genuine drinkability.

Between sips, we share a Rising River shoutout, a golf simulator discovery, and the pre-snow scramble that always hits the week of Thanksgiving. We talk roofs and gutter guards, small-town nights out, and the way winter rituals shape what you drink: a light, balanced ale for game day, a pastry stout for a slow night, and a fruit-forward option when leftovers lean rich. Our ratings are clear, our jokes are warm, and our gratitude is real—because these seasonal beers aren’t just flavors; they’re part of the moments we remember.

If you’re stocking up for the holidays, skip the spice bombs that dry out your tongue. Reach for a classic winter ale you can share across the table, and save the cookie stouts for that single slow pour after dessert. Give it a listen, tell us which winter beer belongs in your fridge, and help others find the show—follow, share with a friend, and drop a quick review. Your notes keep the mics on and the glasses clinking.

SPEAKER_03:

Welcome back to another Reason to Drink. This is your hostess with the Moses Princess, and I'm here with my other hostess.

SPEAKER_02:

What's happening, everybody? Our special Thanksgiving show is on. Just for you.

SPEAKER_03:

I gobble gobble on these nuts. No. Rick, I can't get used to the not having the headset. I know. It's so weird.

SPEAKER_02:

It's so different. Yeah. I don't know if I like it or not. I know. I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, I understand once we get flowing a little bit, it helps with the conversation part of it.

SPEAKER_02:

It does, but then I can't tell if I'm hearing. You know what I mean? We're not hearing like I don't know if I'm yelling. I don't know if I'm too soft. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03:

You know, yeah, I agree with you. I don't know if I'm reading into it too hard. But we'll we just have to look at the beer winch. Yeah. But we did, just so you guys know, we did set up a little bit more because we're getting ready for the YouTube channel, and uh, so we're getting more and more pieces together and getting the room situated and stuff like that. So it is a little weirder because we have uh beer winch off to the side where before she used to be all over our table. Like literally, like all over. And sometimes the smell was a little rough. Yeah. So now she's out of our view. Now she, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Now we put her in the stinky corner.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and we blocked it in with some plexiglass.

SPEAKER_02:

We put her in the tuna room.

SPEAKER_03:

Strong tuna room.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, it's a tuna room.

SPEAKER_03:

Tuna room. Hey, tonight we got a good one, though. We're gonna do um Great Lakes, uh, the cookie exchange. This is a milk stout. This is uh beer that you probably heard us talk about like last year, where each year they come out with a new um cookie exchange or new cookie flavor. Yeah, and um I was trying to look at this one and I don't see where it just says that this one is um it's a berry jam thumbprint. Uh it doesn't even where does it say it though?

SPEAKER_02:

On this screen. Oh yeah, but it does say it on there somewhere. It does, or it's on the box, it's on the box. Maybe it's on the box.

SPEAKER_03:

It don't say it on here, but Rick got these nice ice cold. Yeah, and then we're doing another one, which is a Christmas one.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we're doing a Samuel Smith's winter welcome ale. And it says that it is this seasonal beer is limited edition, brewed for the short days and long nights of winter. The full body resulting from fermentation in Stone Yorkshire Squares.

SPEAKER_03:

I think we've done this before.

SPEAKER_02:

Do you?

SPEAKER_03:

That sounds very familiar when you said the stone.

SPEAKER_02:

So I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_03:

Don't they? But yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Anyways, we'll do it again. We got no choice, is what I got.

SPEAKER_03:

So yeah. One quick note. We just want to say thank you for the people down at uh Rising River. Rising River. We went down there for a little meal. Yep. Maddie, she was real nice to us, um, helped us out. They're real nice down there. Excellent um beer on that. What was two bambino? Two bambinos, yeah. It was uh oh my, it's so good.

SPEAKER_02:

It was a very fruity, very uh thick you would say melt shake, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Real good. Kind of reminds us of Chomp Chomp. Yes. If you heard us talk about Chomp Chomp, very close to that. I I give it a uh 10 out of 10.

SPEAKER_02:

A 10 out of 10, easily for that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it's it was like a raspberry, it was like a smoothie. Yeah, it was very smoothie, yeah. It was very healthy. We met some new people down there. Hopefully, they uh become listeners and give us some likes and stuff. It was nice uh seeing the new people and talking to people, and of course, we went out golfing before we found a new uh simulator that's closer to my brother and Rick's play uh house, yeah. Which uh my brother went over there with us to uh golf a little bit on the uh simulator, and it was fun. It was a good time, yeah. I mean, I didn't do nearly as good as you guys, but whatever. And of course, my brother beat me by last stroke. I had to sink it. I had one bad hole and it caught up, and I was killing them before that. But I did win the first nine. Let's just leave it at that. You know, if we played another nine, I probably would have beat him, but yeah, you know. It was a close game. It was a close game. It was a close game. I was coming back, yeah. I was on my way. You're on your way back.

SPEAKER_02:

I was on my way back, but then we had to quit. We had to quit time and yeah, so I was just letting them get ahead a little bit so that way I could have a good comeback.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but it we had a good meal. We do that on our uh Thanksgiving, this our Thanksgiving show, Eve. Yeah, we hang out. Uh there's some bad weather coming in, so yes, there is.

SPEAKER_02:

You're saying 18 inches, buddy. That is crazy.

SPEAKER_03:

Possible. Wow, possible in this area, right? Yeah, yeah. They said it was like a winter blizzard, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It's coming off the lake, so it's gonna be a lake effect, fucking bullshit. Whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

So they say once the lake freezes, you you don't want to shut off. Yeah, it shuts off because it's just pulling the moisture, right? Right, yep, yeah. Yep. So we're gonna start off with the cookie exchange first, right? Yep, yeah. The only thing bad about eating and then drinking that smoothie one, because oh, I'm a little bloated. So bloated, dude. Yeah, I was sucking that last one down because we were ready to go, and I was like, oh, I shouldn't have probably done that.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I don't even know if how these beers are gonna go right now because it's gonna be hard to get them down. Trying to cut through it with that make a make water, but it wasn't working. It's not working very well.

SPEAKER_03:

Every burp helps, though. Yeah. Ooh.

unknown:

Ooh.

SPEAKER_03:

That's different.

SPEAKER_02:

I get a little coffee flavor, don't you? That's not what I was expecting. I get butterscotch, aren't you? Yeah, butterscotch hard. Hard. So I don't get the berry jam thumbprint. Not at all. I get butterscotch. I get caramel. Yeah, butterscotch caramel.

SPEAKER_03:

I wonder what other people are saying, because it is not it's going by awfully quick. Yeah, I can't read that fast. Beerwin's just over there moving the mile.

SPEAKER_02:

Assuming not that fast of a reader.

SPEAKER_03:

She can read that fast off that computer, but I'm like, but no, I'm butterscotch. That's strong butterscotch.

SPEAKER_02:

That's strong.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It's different.

SPEAKER_03:

You know what? Almost tastes like them butterscotch um candies. Them worth the worth yeah, I messed you up on that. I want to say Woolworths, but it is Worthington.

SPEAKER_01:

No, I don't think that's it.

SPEAKER_02:

No, no, isn't that some kind of dumb cylinder company or something company? Worthers. Worthers. Worthers. Doesn't it taste like a Worthers? Yeah, yeah. It's Worthers. Isn't that what they are? Yes, it is.

SPEAKER_03:

Werders originals. Worthers Original, yeah. That's what I think it tastes like.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

They should have a little bit, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

But it does have that hint of coffee.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes, like a caramel coffee.

SPEAKER_02:

Like a caramel coffee. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I don't understand. I don't get it, dude.

SPEAKER_03:

I don't get the berry, jam.

SPEAKER_02:

I ain't getting no berry and getting no berry and I ain't getting no jam.

SPEAKER_03:

You know what? That drink we had earlier had more berry and more berry and yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, the drink earlier was more like jelly. Yeah, it was. Because it ain't jamming this dick. You ain't jellying a dick down here. He ain't jamming to it.

SPEAKER_03:

But no, this it ain't bad though. But it took you for surprise when you ate that. Yeah, because I that's not what I was expecting.

SPEAKER_02:

I was expecting something sweet. Berry flavored. Yeah. Yeah, I don't get it. I don't either. I I don't get the berry jam. That's it says it right there, berry jam thumbprint. I know. And you said that let me look at the box when we go to break. We'll look at the box. Maybe this is last year's. No, it ain't last year. I mean, maybe it was jam last year and now it's just because it says the stout pastry. Yeah, it's not, though. I don't get it. Yeah. I get. Or maybe everyone's different in the box. I don't know. Are we all having a different beer? I don't know. No, because mine and yours, we both the butterscotch. Is yours butterscotch over there, beer rich-ish? Yeah. Do you get the jam? The thumb print? No. Yeah. I mean, it kind of tastes like a thumb in a butt. A thumb in the butt? I don't know what a thumb in a butt tastes like. Well, like, you know, after you wipe, you like accidentally lick your thumb. No, that's only you. It tastes like butterscotch.

SPEAKER_03:

But you just I get it.

SPEAKER_00:

It tastes like buttons.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, you're just trying to trick the women to lick your ass.

SPEAKER_02:

That's all that it tastes like butt burn spots. Blowing that blue knot. Why does it taste like penny? It tastes like penny.

SPEAKER_03:

Copper. Remember the days. Copper bomb. Copper bomb.

SPEAKER_01:

He loved that one. Yeah, he did. The good old days. Good old days.

SPEAKER_02:

Anyways, what's going on in Ricky's world? Oh, not a lot. I was supposed to have today off, but I ended up working for a couple hours, but whatever. Yeah, it was good money. It went by fast. Oh, yeah. I was there at four, what, quarter after four? Out by 10.

SPEAKER_03:

So you know, but it it it it threw me off because I had the day off, but it felt like uh a Saturday, you know, to me, waking up.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, to me, it seems like a Friday, you know, because I did go in for a couple hours, whatever. It feels like a but then it's only Wednesday. It's only Wednesday, yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

And we are doing the show earlier one day because one day Thanksgiving.

SPEAKER_02:

Old Thanksgiving and big plans for the old Thanksgiving. Not I. No. No, you no, I think we're gonna head over to your brothers, and that's about it. Uh we got this huge snowstorm, so my family kind of backed out on everything. Yeah. You know, mom doesn't get a lot of things.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, they live more up north, they're gonna get hit with yeah, they're gonna get hit. They'll probably get the 18 inches or whatever.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so so no, not a whole lot going on. Just gonna be uh relaxing around the hood. I'm sure there'll be some beer drinking, yeah, hanging out, hanging out, video gaming for a minute.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm looking forward to that tomorrow. So did you guys play this morning?

SPEAKER_03:

No, no. I was surprised. No, I was surprised too. No one got up and got going. Yeah. But I I was trying to do a few things around the house, and that's all I've been doing is catching up things around the house, taking care of the dogs and uh trying to stay on the leaves. It was weird though, because the way the the um the leaves, so I got that valley in the back of my house. I have a valley where the one roof hits the other roof and it catches leaves. I climbed up there. I do not like climbing up there. If you heard me on the show, I don't like climbing up there. And I got a metal roof and it's kind of slick and stuff. I get up there and I'm slipping a slide and I'm like, I do not like being up here, but I blew it off, right? And then I went around and cleaned all the gutters. I came around to the back, it didn't even look like I did it. Because you blew everything off the roof? Yeah. No, I I blew I cleaned the roof, but I didn't blow it back onto the roof. But when I came back from the front of the house to the back of the house, after cleaning all the gutters in the front, it didn't look like I did the back. So I was like, dang, got the ladder out. I said, one more time. I climb up there, don't like doing it. Right, blew it all out, blew all the back, and then I go, okay, let me go around.

SPEAKER_04:

I go up the front, and I'm like, what the hell?

SPEAKER_03:

And I'm like, so I blew that out again. So do you still have that many leaves dropping? Yeah, that many leaves. The wind was so strong. Yeah, now um I went to the back and I seen it again. I'm like, I'm not doing that. Yeah, okay, yeah, yeah. Whatever it is, what it is now, and then but the rain lately has helped push a lot more, right? Right.

SPEAKER_02:

Because the rain makes it because I'm out here, like I'm done.

SPEAKER_03:

No, I'm still, I probably have I'm about quarter left. Okay, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

See, I'm done here, and but I did get up on the roof for the first time.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, how was that since it's it's it's sketchy, yeah, it's fucking slick as shit. You know what I mean? I was just like sliding, yeah. Yeah, I was like, oh shit. Luckily I have the the little rail rails, the little ice guards. Yeah, but yeah, I the one time I was sliding like that. I had I put my foot on that to fucking stop me from going off the road.

SPEAKER_03:

And your roof is an esteem. No, not nearly like yours.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh man. But yeah, I mean, so like the old lady's is a little textured.

SPEAKER_03:

Mine has textured.

SPEAKER_02:

It's uh not bad. Mine's not at all.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yours is probably rich.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, it's yeah, yeah. I couldn't imagine going up there. Yeah, basically. So yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

They told me to get gutter guards. I got the good gutter guards, the ones they are advertised all the time. Yeah, that's what I got. Yeah, but you I still fucking cleaning them. I just go around and just blow them off. I can't because I got all well now I can, but originally I I had that um, I don't know, that stringy stuff that comes off the maples and all that, the little berry things that they're all cotton and right. But anyways, I did get that out. But I I'm still I'm like, I'm scared because there's one more port that I can get up higher. Yeah, I'm like, nah, no, no. When you hire some yeah 15-year-old to climb up there, yeah, or something, get a larger ladder or something, not trying to climb the ladder. But, anyways, I did clean the leaves and stuff, and I was, you know, because up here leaf seeds and something's so crazy. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. I still could have done it one more time. I was thinking about doing it this morning, but it was raining, right? But then the sun came out and it kind of turned nicer there for a minute.

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, it didn't up here.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, it didn't? No, no, if we if it would have stayed like that, I probably would have did it. Right, right. I was running out of time because we were going golfing and stuff, so but anyways, other than that, my week's been just um working, working.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah. I mean, two days was nice, you know. Yeah, work two days and be done. Okay, have a good weekend.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I did. I forgot I only worked two days, yeah. But you know, there were crazy days too because everybody acts crazy out there. Yeah, everybody's trying, yeah. I don't I don't know, everybody's grumpy, everybody.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, because you're there for the last two days and don't want to be there in the first place. You're like, why the fuck we ain't even here, why don't we get off?

SPEAKER_03:

But one good thing is as I looked at it as today when I was thinking about it, I was like, I still got four more days. Yep, that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, four more days to play around. Yep, yep, it'd be nice, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But other than that, that's my week. Your week, me week, yeah, everybody.

SPEAKER_02:

It's all yeah, it's all the same old bullshit.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I'm having having another beer. Yeah, that's what we do. That's what we do. Hey, this this milk cookie is good, but I think I would enjoy it more if I wasn't so bloated. That I ain't even gonna go off thumbprint.

SPEAKER_02:

I I yeah, I don't know what to go off of.

SPEAKER_03:

Because isn't a thumbprint sometimes have nuts on it?

SPEAKER_02:

I don't know. I was kind of wondering that too. So yeah, what's a thumbprint cookie look like? I yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Now I did get some German thumbprint cookies from um Aldi's. Okay, and they don't have nuts on them, but they're that more that that um what do you call it? Um shortbread type.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so they're like a little yeah. See, they don't have nuts on these. But I don't understand. I do not taste that.

SPEAKER_03:

No, no, is there a butterscotch?

SPEAKER_02:

That's what I'm looking like.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, there's Christmas, there's jam, there's china butter, yeah. With raspberry almond. Yeah. They do look good though. They consider the classic thumb print with the Hershey. Consider that. I could say see, that's what I'm used to, is the one with the the vegan? The vegan one with the nut. Yuck. They got sprinkles. Yeah, I don't get it. Oh, it's probably more that one right there with the, but they did say berry. But see the caramel one with the chocolate? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, I'm not getting it.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I don't get it. But I mean, it's not bad. No, it's not thick, you know, it's a kind of a easy drinking, but I don't know if I could do many. I oh I yeah, I probably would only be able to do one.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but you know what? I'll say it's princess.

SPEAKER_02:

You think? Yeah, because it's easy, right?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it's I mean Butterscotch, come on.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, butterscotch, what's a coffee, butter coffee, chocolate, chocolatey type.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it's not bad. If you're thinking a sweet drink, like uh this is a milk stout, I'm surprised too. Yeah, what percentage was it? 5.5. 5.5, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, so that's not real heavy.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but I wouldn't I don't know if I would I wouldn't keep this, but I like doing it for the cookie exchange every year.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, no, uh it's definitely a good thing that we found it. And because last year was the first time we did it, wasn't it?

SPEAKER_03:

That last year was the first time that we found it and we figured it out that they that they do a different cookie every year, yeah. And this is from Great Lakes, yes, yeah, out of Cleveland. Yeah, well, they might have other locations, but uh, Cleveland.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, uh But yeah, it's I I definitely wouldn't keep it. No, I wouldn't be running out and buying it anytime soon. But I like to say that I did it. Right, not this year's anyways, yeah. Because last year's was good. I forget which what it was. That was a sugar cookie. Oh, sugar cookie, yeah, yeah. Yeah, that was cool. And that tasted like a sugar cookie, it tasted like a sugar cookie, that's why I was expecting full-on jam.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but I would have Ethan try this, yeah. Yeah, because he did the sugar cookie with uh right, and we did it at a restaurant we went to. Okay, yeah. They had it on tap. Yeah, I mean, I guess everybody should try it once. Yeah, well, I would do the I think that's the whole thing. You move a beer, right? Right, they get people like us, and then if you like it, then you might like it.

SPEAKER_02:

You might buy another one. If not, then yeah, you tried it.

SPEAKER_03:

But anyways, it's pretty good. So any uh anything else going on this wonder. Not a whole lot, man. There really isn't.

SPEAKER_02:

I mean, it was a pretty slow week, quiet, quiet, and uh, you know, kind of buckling down for the snowstorm that's gonna be. Everybody's getting ready, yeah. You know, so hopefully make a bunch of good food tomorrow that we can take bags home and probably be stuck in the house for the rest of the weekend, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03:

There, there's a lot of people that are advertising what to do with the turkey leftover stuff. I've seen someone, you know, like at our house, what we do is we make a turkey papay. Okay, yeah, you know, which is easy, right? Right, yeah, yeah. But um, someone did the same concept, but it was weird. They they um took the turkey, they put gravy on it, then they put like a cranberry sauce on it, and then they put stuffing, and then they put mashed potatoes on top, and they put gravy pie. Yeah, like a shepherd's spot pie, kind of yeah, yeah. And they basically took all the stuff from the corn beans, everything, screw it all in there, and yeah, yeah, I can see it. Yeah, and I'm like, you know what I thought when I seen it though? It's basically taking your Thanksgiving plate and dumping it in a ball in the bowl and saying, Here you go. Here you go. It's the same thing, other than the crust, right?

SPEAKER_02:

Right, right. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Now I will be surprised. I mean, I don't know if you've seen this, but I went out the other day and I was buying some stuff for some Thanksgiving dishes, right? The cost. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_02:

So I got away pretty easy this time around. Oh, you did? Yeah, because I'm not really oh you're not I uh we're we're doing uh like a dish. A green bean casserole. Yeah, and I'm gonna do my crab stuff shrimp.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh. Potatoes, right? What? Then potatoes? No, the crab stuff. Shrimp. I don't remember that.

SPEAKER_02:

With the cowboy butter that I oh that's all the way around in the pan. Yeah. So your brother requested that.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, that is a pretty whoo, I just burped, and let me tell you, I feel better.

SPEAKER_02:

It's getting there, dude. It's getting there, it's starting a cut. Oh, I felt better after that one.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, eating on top of drinking that fruity. And um he requested that, but I seen the other day um on um YouTube, well, not YouTube, uh Ticket Talk. TikTok, Tickety Talk. Yeah, there's a guy that he took old cast iron pans, okay, and the handle on that, and he made spatulas out of them. He cut and then filed. I don't know if I'd like that. Yeah, it was weird.

SPEAKER_02:

It was like a you think they'd be heavy as shit for one.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, real heavy. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like I never heard of the brand. Someone with the W. Walden. Have you heard Griswold? Griswold Griswold.

SPEAKER_02:

Griswold's the uh top brand. Yeah, like Odin or something like that. They don't make them anymore.

SPEAKER_03:

Old Olden or something like that. I know Lodge. I know Lodge, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

And Griswold's Griswold's is uh the original, basically. I think they were even based on a PA.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, really? He had a bunch, man. He had he had a bunch of uh old um pots that he had you know cleaned up and seasoned and seasoned them right. He claimed some kind of seasoning, how he did it was you know what I mean, it was supposed to be good or whatever. Yeah, but anyways, yeah, yeah. I was surprised to see how much the um there's Lodge La Crest. Yeah, I don't remember it was a weird name.

SPEAKER_02:

Company in Smithy. See, they don't even have the Griswold Griswolds, you can find them at uh flea markets and stuff like that, but they're oh they're vintage classic.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, they're oh that's what it was, the Wagner. Wagner, yeah, yeah. He had a lot of Wagner, that's what yeah. And I was like, and it was worn out, and it was weird to see the the spatulas he made out of it, and basically what it was is you could tell on some of them that the rust had ate through to a point where he couldn't repair it. Yeah, he couldn't repair it, so he was cutting, and there was still a little of the pitting that you get that was showing through on the yeah, so that's where I was thinking, you know. Yeah, they're not cheap. Wow, them them smitty are man, that's sharp looking though.

SPEAKER_02:

It's sharp looking, but but 220 bucks. 220 bucks, yeah. Well, yeah, that's uh that's pretty that's just for a 12-inch skillet. Yeah, I've never seen one like that. It almost looks copper.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it does look copper, yeah. Yeah, yeah. That's pretty cool. But anyways, I seen that and I thought of you, you know, as far as because uh DR does a lot of like camping and stuff. Yeah, that is pretty cool, them dishes. They brought it up on the uh um TV in here, and he's got showing Smithy, the beer wench.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I don't know if I've ever seen them, the Smithy. No, I never even heard of them. No, I yeah, but you know, they're making a comeback. Well, they should. I could they're great, dude. They really are. I mean, they're so versatile in what you could do with them. Yeah, you know, I mean you can go from a fire to the oven to and whatever. Now, the one thing I will say is that I don't think I would ever get a pre-seasoned one ever again.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, really?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, because they the coating they put on it to somewhat say they're seasoned.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

It it's a pain in the ass to clean. It's uh textured.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, yeah, it's almost gridded. Yeah, it's gridded.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, and I don't like it. It fucking sucks to clean and everything else. Yeah, 24 bucks. Now, how do you get rid of that? You would have to go in and fucking grind it out or sand it out, take a sander and sand it all out.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, now the Smitty one don't have that. I don't have that, right?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, but that's 220 versus 24.

SPEAKER_03:

It's like a thousand percent more, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. But my Dutch ovens like that.

SPEAKER_03:

It's smooth.

SPEAKER_02:

It no, it I I got one that's smooth because it's an older one, and then one that was pre-seasoned from the company, and they just they it puts a texture on it, and to clean it is such a bitch. It really is. But yeah, I so I would go I my buddy or my son's buddy said that he could take it to his work and oh and clean it, sand it all down for me, and then I would just reseason it myself. And you know what I mean.

SPEAKER_03:

Basically, you're just using the oil to burn it in.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, you just bake you just keep baking it and putting the oil on it and baking it.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Now they show Brussels sprouts in one of them. I wouldn't do that. No. Yeah, I wouldn't do Brussels sprouts either. I'm not a big Brussels sprout. What do you think of this cookie exchange though?

SPEAKER_02:

It I I don't know what to rate it under. I guess we can rate it under a Christmas beer. It's a Christmas beer. It would be a Christmas beer, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

You know, so the chocolate comes out more and more as you drink down.

SPEAKER_02:

The chocolate, the it's a weird taste to me. Yeah, it's just an odd taste. I would say butterscotch. A butter-ish scotch, like maybe a butterscotch that fell out of the ramp wrapper and grandma's purse and got a hairs and everything on it. And yeah, I I I don't yeah, I don't know. I like I personally am not a huge fan of it. Yeah, I I'm gonna have to probably I'll give it an eight. Yeah, I'm sure.

SPEAKER_03:

Actually, I'm surprised it's not that high.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I'm even thinking of seven.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I was thinking seven, seven, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

I'll go six point five seven, yeah, seven. I'll be seven.

SPEAKER_03:

I I don't mind drinking it. I know being bloated a little bit. Yeah, that's not helping. No, it's not helping, but um, yeah, I could get through one and then be like, okay, I'm done.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I'm not gonna go buy another six-pack now. You know what I mean? Especially because I'm only having one. I'll like I'll be giving these to the neighbors.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and like I said, it I I would I'll probably steal one for E, but um, I would say princess because it is um a sweeter and a better scott and chocolate flavor, but other than that, I wouldn't go much more than that. I don't even know if I can actually finish it to be honest with you. I'm halfway and I'm like yeah, I'm like I'm the same, not because it's bad, no, it's just I'm bloated as hell.

SPEAKER_02:

It's just bloated as hell, and it's sweet, and yeah, like I just not.

SPEAKER_03:

And we already did kind of already some sweet yeah, yeah, when we're at rising river, which is good. People, you guys should try that. Where are they located? They're in Kanyeat Hawk. Kanyeat Lake. Yeah, Kanyeat Lake, PA. Yeah, yeah, they're real good.

SPEAKER_02:

And the uh the swing factory over there, it's what it's called. It's uh the inside simulator golf, which they they got a nice little setup, yeah. They do have a nice little setup over there.

SPEAKER_03:

The guy's real nice, yeah. And there's a place across the street you can eat at too. Yeah, the lounge or something like that. Yeah, yeah. So I mean it's a nice little just be careful of there. There's a lot of poke.

SPEAKER_02:

At 10 bucks an hour, you can't beat it.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, yeah, per player.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah. You can't beat that.

SPEAKER_03:

No. But, anyways, we're gonna take a quick break because I I probably ready to switch to that other one and then see maybe if I can work another burp out of me. But uh, we'll be right back.

unknown:

Yep.

SPEAKER_03:

Welcome back. I hope you got a nice ice cold one like we do. And we're gonna jam jam jam.

SPEAKER_04:

Jam!

SPEAKER_03:

There's a song out there with honey jam. Can't think of it. I don't know. It's old RB in school, anyways. Samuel Smith's winter welcome ale. Do you say winter welcome ale or do you say winner ale welcome? Winter ale or winner welcome ale. Winter welcome ale. Yeah, that's what I would say. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Brewed at Yorkshire's oldest brewery. That rings a bell.

SPEAKER_02:

The Yorkshire, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. And then when we talked about when you said that there was like some bricks or something, but this is a 25-26. So I wonder if they come out with a new one every year. Every year. Yeah. I mean, the bottle's pretty cool. Yeah, the layer is pretty cool. That's what I've got. That's where caught mine. I was like, oh, okay, we'll do that one. It's got a lot of stuff on the back. Anyways, we got that. Oh, that it doesn't. You know what? For some reason I thought it was gonna be dark. A dark beer? Yeah, no. Yeah. Rick popped it open for us. Kind of skunky smelling. Oh, you know, it smells like uh Heineken. Yeah. I might like this one actually. Rick's like, oh my different?

SPEAKER_02:

It's different. It's light.

unknown:

Kind of

SPEAKER_02:

Like a Heineken. Yeah, it's light. It's a light. It's not really that bad. No. No, it's pretty good.

SPEAKER_03:

It's got a real rich ale flavor to it.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. Yep. Yeah. But it ain't bad. No, it's not bad at all. I gotta get this one down a little bit better.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, absolutely. And I would probably keep this one to be honest with you. Yeah, I probably would. Yeah, I would keep it cheap. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I'd probably keep this. So that's not that bad. No. And we do apologize for the show today. We're we're kind of just we kinda ate and drank too much and drank early.

SPEAKER_03:

After we drank them other ones. Did you have any jokes though? Um I thought I had a joke, but I'm gonna look it up real quick.

SPEAKER_02:

But what do you call a Mexican with no leg? A Mexican girl with no legs? I don't know. Consuelo.

SPEAKER_03:

Consuelo. There was one I heard recently that was kind of like that. It was like play on that.

SPEAKER_02:

Do you know why the walrus went to the tough wear shop, tough a warehop? No. She was looking for a tight seal.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh man. That's a dad joke.

SPEAKER_02:

Hey, we're the dad jokes show. Do you know if the Indians would have gave us a donkey instead of a turkey back in the day? Yeah, we'd all be getting a little ass tomorrow. They didn't want to give up their donkey. Yeah, they didn't want to give us ass. We gave them all blankets and diseases.

SPEAKER_03:

And children. But, anyways, we're gonna jump into Ricky's bad choices. See, that's one thing we don't even know. Yeah, we're quick, we're moving, moving.

SPEAKER_02:

This is a quick show. This is a quick Thanksgiving Eve. We gotta get home and get ready for choice.

SPEAKER_03:

And we know that you guys gotta listen to the show quick and get it.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, you guys gotta get everybody's on the schedule now. So we'll make it funnier next time. Yeah, I promise.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh so this is Ricky Bad Choices. Do you complain a lot about first world problems? Man, that's a weird one from this. Yeah, I yeah, yeah. I don't complain about it.

SPEAKER_02:

Normally there's some kind of sex thing or something. Yeah, I don't complain about nothing. No. First world problems. I don't know what second world problems are. I don't know what the end of the world problem is. Yeah, what's first world problem? I would probably say no on that. Money. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Nobody has enough of it.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. There you go. Join the group. Have you ever fallen for a scam? No, I don't think I have. There was one time that me and Ethan were we were in um Cleveland and this guy was trying to do a scam on us. Right. But I knew it was a scam. And he and then a police lady came up and said, Hey, that guy's trying to scam you. I said, Yeah, I'm aware. You know what I mean? Right, right. What was he trying to scam me on? He was trying to say something that he he could something about our shoes or some some bullshit. I said, dude, if he just wants money, yeah, you know, yeah, it's yeah. And I said, Well, then you know what? Entertain me for a second, you know.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, that's what uh every time I go down to Cleveland, I don't know if I just have that look, whatever, but I'll always get somebody come up asking me for a cigarette or asking for something, and normally I'll be like, Yeah, no problem. Here you go, but like tell me a joke, yeah. You know, yeah, give me something for it at least, you know. Entertain my ass entertain my ass or something, you know.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean it ain't free, yeah. It's scratch my balls or something. Yeah, but that's the only scam I can think of. But there are so many scams out there. I was watching um it was either uh TikTok or uh what's that YouTube? I mean not YouTube, I'm sorry. Um Facebook, they do them. Um I don't know what uh Reels. Reels. Oh yeah, yeah, and they were on there talking about how they get these people that scam people about computer things and stuff right that were leaning. And uh they were talking, man, this one lady was going to the bank forty thousand dollars.

SPEAKER_02:

I don't understand how they offer shit like that, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and they tell them to go down there and deposit and and lucky for this, these guys were going in and helping these people out. That poor lady was just about to send these people. Whole life savings. That's crazy. That is, that's sad, anyways. Would you rather be rich than happy out of the two? Rich or happy? Rich. Right? Because you're happy now.

SPEAKER_02:

Let's see what rich does.

SPEAKER_03:

But I mean, it doesn't say that you'll never be happy when you're rich.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I mean, what I mean you're happy, but you're poor. Money doesn't buy you happiness, but yeah, it buys me food that makes me happy. Yeah, it buys me be a that makes me happy, buys me a truck, yeah. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, true. You can buy me a boat, yeah. Um, so and it's funny too, because I seen this little skit, like skit again about uh there's two angels talking, and and the one angel said, Yeah, I uh gave him the wish that he could uh be rich and then he would realize he wasn't happy. And she goes, How'd that go? And she he said, Oh, it backfired, yeah. Yeah, it's I mean he's out there partying, right? Having a great time, yeah, yeah. Yeah. Actually, I think it's a movie. Is it a movie? I've seen something about it. Yeah, it might be a movie.

SPEAKER_02:

It is actually, it's the new movie with um Keanu Reeves that just came out. It might be a movie here. He's Peter, oh, yeah, angel or whatever, yeah, and he takes a guy and fucking swaps two guys out. Oh, that's weird. One that's rich and one that's poor, but one's happy, whatever, and yeah, he swapped and he ended up losing his wings. Yeah, because the other guy fucking, he's like, I'm not going back. I love it. I'm having a great time. Yeah, this is good. Yeah, it's just coming out, actually, I think.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. If you were all stranded on a desert island, we're killing it today. Would you eat someone here to survive? Wait, what, what, what? This one's good, right? What was it? Would you eat the beer winch? Anyways, if you were on a stranded, if you were all stranded, if we were all stranded on a desert island, would you eat someone here to survive? If they were already dead.

SPEAKER_02:

If yeah, I mean if they're already gone. I don't care if you eat my ass.

SPEAKER_04:

If I had worse in my mouth, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Actually, Riggs got to work. You know, you get fucking uh I'm the fat guy. I just mean I'll live longer because I got more to lose. Uh but doesn't that fuck with you anyhow, though? It does, I think so, right? Like you start getting shakes and shit like that because it's not the kind of meat you should be eating. Right. You know, I mean you're not getting the nutritions out that you no, it's not like that. But yeah, but I mean to survive, they did it up in the that airplane or whatever, the airplane, that soccer team. Yeah, they're cutting them people up.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but I mean, what what are you gonna do? Yeah, you it is a meat and it's frozen.

SPEAKER_02:

They had it frozen. Yeah, what are you gonna do? I mean, yeah, chomp chomp. Die or whatever. You're like, damn, lucky Rick was going straight for the tube steak, aren't you?

SPEAKER_04:

Lucky he was fat because there's a lot of meat on here.

SPEAKER_02:

Vienna sausage.

SPEAKER_04:

He ain't lean by any means.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh have you ever made a New Year's resolution that lasted less than a week? Yep. Every New Year's resolution. I'm gonna start drinking. I'm never drinking again.

SPEAKER_02:

Tomorrow. The next day, January 2nd. Yeah, I'm never gonna eat a sweet again. Yeah, January 2nd.

SPEAKER_04:

I'm never gonna do a dick again.

SPEAKER_02:

That one's held up. That one lasted a while. That one's still there. That one's still stuck. Only tried it once. That was enough. New Year's Eve. I didn't like it. That was a bad year, 2020. It spit back at me. Right in your eye. Right in my eye. I didn't like it. Woke up my eye all glued shut. And your ass hurting. Yeah. Glazed donut.

SPEAKER_03:

I've seen here's another TikTok thing. I've seen this guy, how uh women in Thailand are or yeah, where they have all the what do you call them? Lady boys, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Lady boys, whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

How they date in the or how they have sex in um Thailand, you know. So this guy and this girl come back, right? And they're sitting on the couch and everything. She goes, Oh, I'll be right back. I'm gonna get ready. You know, he's like, Yeah, I'm gonna get lucky, right? So the lady boy goes in the back and drops money on the ground, right? And then uh goes around the corner, and then when the guy's coming back, he sees the money, he bends over, and she hears over too late, like a trap, yeah.

SPEAKER_02:

Like, I ain't touching that money. So you see that money on the ground? Keep on walking, yeah. You keep on walking.

SPEAKER_03:

You run, oh yeah, yeah. He's like, oh, look at all this money, yeah. But anyways, that was Ricky's bad choices. One more, ah, whatever. Yeah, has your friendliness ever been misinterpreted as flirting?

SPEAKER_02:

Has my friendliness ever been misinterpreted as flirting? Flirting. I would say yeah. Yeah, for sure. Well, it depends. Well, and it also depends on who's blaming me for it. That's what I'm getting at. Yeah, you know what I mean? Because me, I would just say I was being I'm just being friendly. Yeah. And she's like, You're fucking hitting on her or whatever. Yeah, no, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Hitting her. I seen you wink at her. Yeah, yeah. I didn't wink at her. I didn't wink at her, I had something in my eye. Why you got her phone number, just in case she needs some help. She said she was thinking about falling down. I told her I'd come over and help her, pick uh come over and pick her up. Just being a friendly guy. Just helping the neighbor. Yep. Oh said she needed her bushes trimmed. You know how good I am at the chainsaw. Just helping out. Just helping out.

SPEAKER_03:

What do you think of this so far? It's not bad. It's not bad. It's not bad. I there's a lot of people that say it's unique, you know, and that, but I don't think it's that bad.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, it's not. I mean, I do kind of get the Heineken flavor kind of flavor from it, you know, that little skunkiness. But it's weird.

SPEAKER_03:

Where is this one made out of? Uh Yorkshire. Oh, yeah, that's right. The oldest brewery brewery in Yorkshire. In Yorkshire. Oldest brewery. You know, you can say you were the oldest oldest brewery here on the street. Well, yeah, because I would be.

unknown:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

If we had a brewery. I know.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

You'd probably be the oldest brewery in town. In town? Yeah. Could you say county? No. Not Nashville County.

SPEAKER_02:

No, because you got all up north. Yeah, you got a ton of them up.

SPEAKER_03:

But you could say in town. In town? Yeah. I'm the oldest brewery.

SPEAKER_02:

Oldest brewery in town established. 1926. 2026. 2026.

SPEAKER_03:

No, what you do is you just put a 26. They don't know. 26 in 1926.

SPEAKER_02:

1926 or fucking. Yep. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah. You know you're old when you were born last century.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. Yeah. 19th century. 19th century. Yeah. It's amazing, ain't it? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Because a kid was born in 2000 would be 26.

SPEAKER_02:

Right. Yeah. Can't believe I'm still alive.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I can't either.

SPEAKER_02:

Amazing.

SPEAKER_03:

There's some women out there. I can't believe you're alive.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, because they're already dead from whatever disease they caught somewhere along the line. We're gonna say, right? All my tests come back negative.

SPEAKER_03:

I strapped up. Hey, um, what would you give this then?

SPEAKER_02:

It's a we it's considered a Christmas beer. It's considered a Christmas beer. I'd probably go at like an eight on it. I I would agree. Eight for Christmas ale. Yeah. It's it's I mean, it's not very Christmas y.

SPEAKER_03:

No. But I mean, but it's a good beer. I mean, to I uh to me, like I agree with you, it's more like a Heineken or uh European European ale.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I mean it's just your standard ale, but it's it it doesn't have the cinnamon and nutmeg and all that. It's not drying me out like all that does, you know what I mean, on the tongue, whatever.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh yeah, but I had um what is that shiner the other day? Oh, yeah, and that was shiner the Christmas cheer. That's good. Yeah, that's good, and that's totally different. They nailed that one. They nailed that one, yeah. That is good.

SPEAKER_02:

Matter of fact, I think your brother has some of that over at his house, and we were supposed to bring it over here for our little daily drinker.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, that would be good. That would have been good. There's also another one out there I've seen that uh modello came out with one. It's like red, like uh bright red, like Christmassy red. Oh, yeah. It's gold, yeah, and it's just made for Christmas. I have one and I tried it, and I'm thinking I'm gonna bring some for the show. Tastes like cactus. No, it's actually very smooth, mild. I was wondering about comparing it to because they have the one that's like the modello regular, then they have the dark one, and then they have I don't know what color this one is because it they all come in the brown, that dark bottle. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, only the the right the light one comes where the clearer clear, yeah. Yeah, the other ones. So I was assuming it was dark, but it did not have a dark flavor to it. You know, so I was thinking that might be um good.

SPEAKER_02:

Absolutely, yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

But uh hey, if anybody just remind you that you could go to Buzz Sprout and uh buy us a beer and become an active supporter and uh give us some shout out, give us some love.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, give us all loving, loving.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and uh if you want to, you can uh go out there and listen to some episodes and then give us some five stars and feedback as well.

SPEAKER_02:

How many episodes do we have out there right now?

SPEAKER_03:

Roughly, uh just uh yeah, the it's like it's a few hundred.

SPEAKER_02:

Is it?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but just uh since we restarted because we dropped some off there, we're probably a close to a hundred. Yeah, we gotta eat up there. Yeah, we're getting there. We're getting there. So there's lots of good entertainment out there for you if you don't want to listen to this show because we're yeah, it makes a big impact how you drink any.

SPEAKER_02:

We'll never do that again. Yeah, I we apologize, yeah. Like normally we just grab something quick and eat and eat and you know, and get on it.

SPEAKER_03:

And no, I don't think it was the eating part. I think it's because we started them beers early, yeah. And I was feeling pretty good.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, I was starting to get a little buzz, but then we had them other beers, but then we ate on top of it. But and that Muller beers were really thick, they were real thick and just filled us up. Yeah, a couple of times. I mean, I literally feel like I just ate a Thanksgiving dinner. Yeah, you know what I mean? Like I'm so ready for a row fucking father. You had the turkey and it's making you sleepy. That's why I go put my fucking jammings on and put my hands down my pants to sit on the couch. And then the evening will then the evening will begin. I'm gonna stuff me like a Thanksgiving turkey. Gobble gobble, gobble, gobble. Gobble gobble. You wish you had someone to gobble gobble. I'm out of here. I wish I had somebody to gobble it. Yeah. Beer wench will hang around.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh yeah. But I do, I do, I must admit it wasn't a boat. A tuna boat. Yeah, lock keeper licking her, yeah. Yeah, there's a little vent down there, you can fart in it, and it just pumps it in there.

SPEAKER_02:

Pumps it right in there. Yeah, that'd be good. Yeah, a little air. Like a fart spray.

SPEAKER_03:

You've seen people do that to the huge and they lock them in the fucking suits and fucking I'd be ripping that thing.

SPEAKER_02:

I'd be fucking laughing my ass off. Oh, dude. It would be the funniest one. Especially if it was like just watching, just watching somebody fucking, yeah, just struggling to get out and fucking throwing up all over the place. And uh, I'd probably try. He would throw up. He probably would. Yeah, yeah, he probably I'd probably throw up.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, anyways, what's your uh another reason to drink this week?

SPEAKER_02:

Uh Thanksgiving. Yeah, yeah. Right around. And thank you, everybody. Yeah, thank you for you know sticking with us and downloading and all that good stuff. And yeah, you know, thankful for another year past. And it's going so fast, it's going so fast, dude. It's yeah, it's flying by.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, and I I don't really care for the uh January, February, March don't bother me, but March, April, May, like that them months seem so slow, so long. No vacation, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah, I could see that, but it's the weather breaking, you know what I mean? That's what I enjoy. Like you know, yeah, it's coming, especially if we're gonna have the winter they're saying we're gonna have.

SPEAKER_03:

I and and honestly, I don't mind the winter right now because you get excited around the holidays, you'll see. Yeah, yeah, I don't mind it, but but after like January.

SPEAKER_02:

Fucking end of January. Yeah, I'm good with it. You know what I mean? You can you can go away. February starts fucking getting a little old, like you know and March hangs on a minute. You know, and then fucking 45-minute drive to work turns into an hour and a half. Yes. You know, that's when I look important. That's when it starts getting a little bit. But then uh old brother-in-law's up here from the Carolinas for his first winter storm. So he brought it with us. Yeah, that's that's pretty exciting for him. Yeah. Which he starts work, yeah, I know. Yeah, yeah. But I mean it's it, suck it, suck it. You know, but yeah, well, it'll be interesting. Because I mean, I'm sure he's driven snow before, hasn't he? Or has he not?

SPEAKER_03:

I don't know.

SPEAKER_02:

I'm sure he's never have. Wow, no, he's they're saying no. So he's yeah, because I mean you didn't you moved to the snowbelt. Yeah, you moved to Ohio Snow Belt, like welcome to hell, buddy. Like why are you leaving so early? Hell freezing.

SPEAKER_03:

You better hell freezes over here fucking really and you better, you better, uh well, right now there's a lot of deer running around.

SPEAKER_02:

Absolutely. Holy cow, the deer fucking everywhere, everywhere, everywhere.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, but they're writing, you know.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, they're all out there trying to get their own.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, get their own. We would too.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_03:

Still do. My another reason to drink is I just want to thank everybody for the last past year. It was a good year.

SPEAKER_02:

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03:

It went fast. We did good on the show. We had a lot of good memories on the show. That's why we keep doing it because uh one thing is that um me and Rick, we enjoy the company and uh just hanging out and uh hanging out with Beer Wench and enjoying the the memories we make, you know.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, the camaraderie and just you know, I yeah, not every show is gonna be hilarious, not every show is gonna be great, but whatever. It is what it is. Yeah, everybody has a bad day. We'll make up for it. Guarantee it.

SPEAKER_03:

It might not be as bad a show as you think. No, no, but but, anyways, uh um any last thoughts? Don't drink and drive. And God bless you. I will see you next week. Happy Thanksgiving.
